No, when you buy your C-TV subscription you are free to use the service for the duration
purchased. If you decide not to renew your subscription or not use our service anymore you are
free to do so.
How do I reset my password for my C-TV Account?
Are there parental controls?
Yes, all content includes age restriction information. C-TV has Kids content which is a safe and
fun for kids between the ages of 2 and 10 years to explore kids’ shows (including Catch Up).
C-TV has controls that allow you to require a code, when you access your profile.
- To set a PIN/Code on a profile, go through the ‘Personal’ screen on your profile menu.

Click on ‘Settings' change your Parental control code.

The Parental Controls setting will be applicable for your account across devices and
platforms that the C-TV App is available on except set-top boxes.
How to create, change, or delete profiles?
You can have up to 3 profiles on a single C-TV account. Each profile can have their own
personalized C-TV experience.
Each profile can have its own:
1. Profile lock
2. Viewing activity log
3. Watchlist
4. Favourites
5. Recordings
6. Personalized TV show and movie suggestions
When you first set-up your C-TV you’ll be prompted to create the main profile – and will need to
select an avatar and a name. You can add up to 5 profiles depending on your subscription
package.
To edit or add profiles, go through the ‘Personal’ screen on your profile menu. Click on
‘the profile icon` and select Add Profile and follow the onscreen instructions.
Select Continue or Save. The new profile should show on the list of profiles on your
account.
If you can’t create a profile from your device, visit www.c-tv.co.za on a web browser and
follow the steps.
Yes, the content you can watch on Catch Up is linked to the channels on the package
plan you subscribed to.
Content includes episodes of some of the latest series, movies, sports, kids’ shows and
more.
The content is added after it has been broadcast on the live TV channels.
How long is Catch up content available for?
The length of time is determined by rights with our content providers and varies from up to 7 days.
Does C-TV have a TV Guide Schedule
Yes, the TV Guide displays schedules for all your channels.
Simply select the TV GUIDE screen once you have signed in.
Is the channel list always updated?
We have all world-wide Premium TV Channels. Movies and series are always updated to ensure
you have all latest movies and TV series.
Can I record content on my C-TV App?
